| 2. Construction | Woven plain or twill; knitted jersey or interlock |
| 3. Mesh count and wire | Or the open area, if the electrode is already designed |
| 4. Size | Roll width and length, or sheet and blank dimensions |
| 5. Finish | As-woven, deburred, electropolished or corrugated |
| 6. Certificate | 3.1, with purity and tensile stated |

- Quotation covering the exact construction
- The open area we can hold at that count and wire diameter
- Maximum roll width and whether slitting is needed
- The purity and tensile that will appear on the certificate
